The nation’s capital Delhi is slowly recovering from the economic slowdown of the lockdown. Vehicle sales, among other things, have also gained momentum. Alam is that in the last four months, this sale has increased four times. During this period, over one lakh 17 thousand vehicles have been purchased. In August, about two and a half percent more vehicles were sold than last year. According to market experts, the situation may improve slightly in the coming times. According to data received from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association, a total of 1,17,228 vehicles have been sold in Delhi from May to August. It has 84,343 two-wheelers, 2,369 three-wheelers, 575 heavy commercial vehicles and 29,941 vehicles. Total sales of all vehicles in May were 9,044. This figure rose to 33,138 in June, 37,283 in July and 37,736 in August.

The decline of 83 percent in total vehicle sales in May compared to last year also came down to 23.10 percent in August. After the unlock process started, the sale of vehicles seems to be back on track. There has been an increase of 2.44 percent in the sale of vehicles. In August this year, 10,629 vehicles were sold, while last year 10,376 vehicles were sold.

Despite the Pitru Paksha, 22,232 vehicles were registered in September, 15 days in the Pitra Paksha. Shopping during this time is not considered auspicious. But this month also 22,232 vehicles have been registered with the Transport Department.
