Arrest warrant issued against Mohammed Shami, charges of domestic violence

The Kolkata court has ordered the police to arrest Mohammed Shami if he does not appear in the court within 15 days.

Monday’s day has brought trouble for the Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami. An arrest warrant has been issued against Shami. The Alipur court of West Bengal has issued an arrest warrant in a domestic violence case filed by Mohammad Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan. Mohammad Shami and his brother Hasid Ahmed have been asked by the court to surrender within 15 days.

Actually, a case of domestic violence is registered against Shami. In 2018, Mohammed Shami was charged with serious charges like assault, rape, attempted murder and domestic violence by his wife Hasin Jahan. Hasin Jahan has also filed a case against Shami. Shami’s divorce case is also going on in court.

A case is going on in the Kolkata court against Shami. The court has asked Shami to surrender within 15 days. The Kolkata court has ordered the police to arrest Mohammed Shami if he does not appear in the court within 15 days. Currently, Shami is on a tour of the West Indies with the Indian cricket team, where he is playing the second Test match in Jamaica.

Last year, Kolkata Police registered a case under Shami under seven sections of the IPC following a complaint from Hasin Jahan. Hasin Jahan had filed a case against Shami and his brother. Shami has been booked under section 498A (dowry harassment) and section 354 (sexual harassment) of the IPC, while his brother Hasid Ahmed has been booked under section 354 (sexual harassment).

Hasin Jahan accused her husband and cricketer Mohammed Shami of physically abusing and cheating her. After that, Haseen Jahan filed a police complaint against Shami. After these serious allegations of Hasin Jahan, the BCCI canceled their annual agreement. However, later the board placed him in B-grade giving him a clean chit. After this, Shami made a splash in the IPL and then took a hat-trick in the ICC World Cup and made his bowling iron all over the world.

Last year in 2018, Mohammed Shami’s wife Haseen Jahan made such serious allegations on her husband, which surprised everyone. Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan posted a post on her Facebook page accusing Shami of infidelity. Hasin shared screenshots of WhatsApp.

He claimed that these screenshots were of Shami’s chat with other girls. According to Hasin, Shami used to have intimate chats with other girls, assaulting them when they protested. She had been suffering this harassment for many years. After this, the BCCI stopped the central contract of Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami.

The BCCI said that the board withheld his name after taking into account the allegations leveled by his wife Hasin Jahan. Not only this, but Shami’s playing in the IPL also came to a halt. Later, after BCCI’s investigation, Shami got a clean chit and he started playing cricket back.
