Anil Ambani proposed to set up defense unit in MP
Bhopal: Anil Ambani has again taken the initiative of putting the industry in this sector. The Ambani group has told the state government that the central government has changed the policy of defense procurement.
So now the conditions are favorable. They want to set up an ordnance manufacturing factory, which will invest Rs 400 crore.
It is being told that soon this proposal will be placed in the Cabinet Committee for Investment Promotion (CCIP). In the CCIP meeting to be held on Thursday, the issues of ITC, Backmate, KGS Cement, Krishna Faschem and Ramnik Power are coming up.
Backmate is investing 900 crores, ITC 651 crores, KGS Cement 281 crores, Krishna Faschem 314 crores, Ramnik Power 140 crores. ITC has told the MP government that it will invest in four phases.
First, we will make potato chips. Then flour and later pasta and noodle. During the Magnificent MP in CCIP, the points related to different departments are also being discussed.
About 18 departments are involved in investment matters, whose chief secretary SR Mohanty is going to monitor every week. Any problems or problems that the investors have mentioned at the summit will be rectified.
