America we went to the moon why can’t we solve climate change
Washington, New York Times. 50 years ago i.e. on July 16, 1969, an Earther first stepped on the moon. After this success of the American Space Agency NASA, many countries competed to reach the moon.
Many of the efforts failed but Russia and China also succeeded in taking off their vehicle on the moon. Now India has moved forward towards Chandan-2 to land on the moon.
It all proves that if a person makes a determination and uses his capacity fully, he can achieve any difficult goal.
But in spite of going to space, finding life on other planets and developing new technology, we probably forgot our soil. We have done the moon in our hands, but the problems of the earth are buried somewhere.
Today, the existence of the earth is in danger because of raising the head of many problems like climate change. But neither we are considering it as a real problem, nor is it trying to settle it.
In 1961, NASA started preparing for the mission to send humans to the Moon. Concerned about this mission, the then President John F. Kennedy had said, “We have chosen Chand and have chosen because it is difficult to reach there. By achieving this goal, we will be able to detect our potential and energy.
When Kennedy pointed out the mission to reach the moon not only in America but for the whole world, he did not have to prove that ‘whether the Moon exists or not’. However, in the case of climate change, it is inverted.
There is no serious
concern about climate change At present, the amount of earth temperature and greenhouse gases is increasing day by day.
The opposite effect of these is also in front of our eyes. Due to floods, droughts, hurricanes, arson, tsunami, the disaster is taking a fickle look. Despite this, many times the problem of climate change is said to be fake.
Many countries are not ready to take serious action for its disposal. US President Donald Trump also has the same opinion, so he has separated America from the 2015 Paris Agreement.
Under this agreement, 195 countries had pledged to keep the increase in temperature in the earth below two degrees Celsius.
Is there any gruesome tragedy?
Are we awaiting any such tragedy to treat climate change as a serious problem? The melting of the glaciers, the possibility of an increase in the water level in the sea and the possibility of submerged of many island nations have already been announced.
But we will probably keep sitting on hand until a country or a city really gets drowned in water.
