All you need to know about IIFA Awards 2022

22^nd International Indian Film Academy Awards famously known as IIFA Awards will be telecasted on television on 25^th June 2022 on Colors TV, 8 PM onwards. It took place on 3^rd and 4^th of June in the adventurous Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The awards were originally to be held in March but got postponed to May and finally held in the first week of June.

Bollywood stars from across all the fields gathered together for the event. There will be glam, talent, action, and entertainment all under one roof. Many of your famous celebrities will be performing at the IIFA Awards.

Activities done by the Stars

The celebrities went to main attractions in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi like Ferrari World, Indoor Sky Diving, Marine Aquarium, and WB World Abu Dhabi.

Tamannaah Bhatia visited the most expansive and world’s largest marine life aquarium. Farah Khan went to W hotel in Abu Dhabi and enjoyed cooking with Vineet Bhatia, Michelin Star Chef. The daring and fearless actor Tiger Shroff went indoor sky diving at CLYMB, Yas Island. Nora Fatehi took a ride on the world’s fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World which is known as Formula Rossa which goes from 0 to 240 km/hr in just 4.9 seconds. Maniesh Paul, the entertainer tried his hands on 290 meters long Go Karting track in the Ferrari World.

Digital content creators and budding stars Kusha Kapila and RJ Karishma were there to interview the stars prior to the award show. IIFA Awards 2022 took place after 2020 and it was held in UAE after 16 years.

Bollywood Glam

IIFA awards is solely for the purpose of building a link between cinema, communities, nations, and businesses with a motive of “One People, One World.”

Many talented and big faces graced the prestigious ceremony with their presence in Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi. The list of celebrities who attended the event is endless, naming a few: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, Sunil Shetty, Kirti Sanon, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia D’souza and many more.

Many melodic singers like Guru Randhawa, Honey Singh, and Neha Kakkar also light up the event with their appearance.
