The BJP had announced Abhay Bhardrawaj and Ramiva Ben Bara as its candidates a day earlier, Congress and BJP candidates will file their nominations in Gandhinagar on Friday afternoon. If there are two candidates from both the parties, there will be no chance of holding elections.
Significantly, Shukla himself confirmed his name on social media after which the supporters of Solanki started lobbying, the speculation of Solanki’s nomination as the third candidate from BJP had started but the son of former Chief Minister Madhav Singh Solanki Bharatsingh became a firm player of politics and secured his seat.
