South African player Imran Tahir, who is a techie with his bowling, can prove dangerous for the opposition teams in the ICC Cricket World Cup. Imran Tahir’s journey of cricket has been very interesting. His passion for a girl brought him from Pakistan to South Africa.

Had the love of a girl (wife) had not come in her life, then she might have been playing in the South African cricket team. Indeed, Imran loved a girl and after that, he reached South Africa via Britain.

The most interesting thing about his journey was that during this time he played cricket with 25 different teams. These teams include four English county teams, 3 South African franchise teams and 1 IPL team.

Many things are special in spinner Imran’s bowling. Like his run-up is taller than many fast bowlers. His biggest weapon is the googly, on which it proved to be the most successful bowler in IPL 12 season.

Tahir was not always like this. Imran came to South Africa during the Under-19 World Cup in 1998 and married himself in the first class cricket after getting married with his love Sumaiya.

He was the third highest wicket-taker in First Class cricket during 2008-09. After that in January 2010 he was included in the South African Test team during the home series against England. However, the decision to include him on the same day also changed when it came to know that he was not eligible to play in the South African national team.
