WHO has released a new guideline for wearing children’s masks.
Under this, children below five years of age are forbidden to wear masks.

There is a strong emphasis on wearing masks to prevent corona, but there is no mask for people of all ages. For this, WHO has released a new guideline for wearing children masks. Under this, children below five years of age are forbidden to wear masks. It is only necessary for children over 12 years of age to wear masks.

Teach children to wear and remove masks

According to the WHO, children aged 5 years or younger should not wear masks while children between the ages of 6 and 11 years should wear masks in places where corona infection is high. Also where social distancing is not being followed. Young children can neither wear masks nor take off. There may be a risk of infection. In addition, parents should pay attention to the way children wear and remove masks. It would be better to teach them how to wear and remove masks properly.

Keep these things in mind

– Parents teach young children to wear and remove masks

– Children do not wear masks while playing and exercising

– Do not let children play outside

Must wear mask

The new guidelines, in collaboration with UNICEF, WHO have asked children over 12 years of age to wear masks like elders. Especially when social distancing is not being followed in crowded areas so that the infection does not spread rapidly. They should be told the right way to wear a mask.

Do not wear masks while playing

Children should not wear masks while playing or exercising because you breathe more quickly while playing and the breath of children is also soft compared to adults. In such a situation, there can be a problem of inhalation, which can become a breath-related problem later. In such a situation, if possible, let the children play at home because going out can increase the risk of infection.
