One of the most well-known religious treks in India is the Char Dham Yatra. Here are some fundamentals you should be aware of before making travel arrangements.

The Yatra officially begins on April 22, 2023, and is expected to end in November. You would need at least 10 to 12 days to complete the Yatra if you intend to travel.

Another option is to use a helicopter. The Char Dham helicopter package has its headquarters in Dehradun. Be sure to reserve it in advance.

Given that there will be a lot of walking and trekking, get in shape well in advance of the trip. To avoid landslides, avoid travelling during the monsoon season.

Four holy shrines located in Uttrakhand make up the Char Dham Yatra: Yamunotri Dham, Gangotri Dham, Kedarnath Dham, and Badrinath Dham.

Because biometric registration is required, bring a photo ID with you, such as an Aadhar Card, voter ID, PAN card, etc.
