The matter will be heard today in the Supreme Court in the case of cancellation of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ICSE 12th examinations. In the meeting with the Union Ministry of Education, some states have supported the examination, but some states are opposed to it. Apart from this, a group of students are also demanding the cancellation of the exam. For this, a campaign is being conducted on the internet media.
The declaration of the dates of board examination is entirely dependent on the Supreme Court’s order. If the court is in favor of the examination, then the dates can be announced only on June 1. Anyway, the Ministry has already indicated to announce new exam dates on June 1. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are fixed on June 1. Significantly, the education ministry has meanwhile prepared a plan for the exam-related preparations, under which the 12th board examination can be conducted after July 25.
Declaration will be done only after the stand of the Supreme Court
Now any announcement regarding the 12th board examination will be made after seeing the Supreme Court, but the Ministry of Education is busy finalizing its preparations related to the exam. It has also held a high-level meeting with the Prime Minister’s Office regarding this.
