In a string of strictures, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Friday morning closed the Shahdara Metro station and Dilshad Garden Metro station entry gate to follow the physical distance rules while traveling in stations and trains, while the exit gates of these stations opened. Stayed and people got out of here. However, after some time the entry gates have been opened at both the metro stations as soon as the situation becomes normal.

Currently, these stations remain closed for a while

  • Shahdara Metro Station
  • Dilshad Garden Metro Station
  • Mohan Nagar Metro Station

    Saket DMRC has been temporarily closing the entry gate at Qutub Minar, Kashmiri Gate, Shastri Park, New Delhi, Chawdi Bazar, and Seelampur station for the past several days to follow the physical distance rules in platforms and trains, though The exit gates of these stations remain open and people can exit from here.

    Officials of Delhi Metro say that the process of closing the entry gate of the metro station is going on in order to follow the physical distance in view of congestion. This has to be done in peak hours only.
