In this difficult time of Corona crisis, people coming to Surat from various states of the country are going through financial crisis. In such a situation, they want to return to their village. To help such troubled people, a Surat builder has put forward a helping hand. Builder Prakash Bhalani has opened his flats to 42 families who are unable to pay rent. The builder says that instead of this they will not be charged a fare, they will have to pay only 1500 rupees for the maintenance fee. These people can stay here as long as they want.
A project named Rudraksh Lake Palace at Umrah in Olapad in Surat is ready by the builder. Currently, no buyer is coming to buy them. In such a situation, the builder has given free house to the people suffering from Corona crisis.
Builder Prakash Bhalani told that people have started living in 42 flats out of 92 flats in Rudraksh Lake Palace Society. These are the people who shifted to Surat with the hope of employment, but in the lockdown and then unlock, companies cut their salary and some have been fired. Because of which a financial crisis has arisen in front of these people. Builder Bhalani told that when we announced the giving of free flats on social media, many needy people came to us, I am just taking 1500 rupees maintenance per month from every family.
Asha Kumawat, who came to live in the building, said that no rent will be charged from us to stay in Rudraksha Palace until our conditions are normal. It has helped us a lot. Bhalani said that about half of the people in 92 flats have started living. According to the builder, only Rs 1,500 a month will be charged from each family as maintenance. If people come to live in all the flats, then the maintenance of the month will be reduced from Rs 500 to just Rs 1,000.
