Firing in New Jersey, six people dead, two suspects also killed
Newspapers, agencies. New Jersey shooting Six people, including a police officer, were killed in a shootout on Tuesday in the US city of New Jersey. According to police officials, three civilians and two suspected assailants have also been killed in the shootout.
At least one civilian and two policemen have also been injured in this. The incident occurred outside a store near the Bayview area of the city. There is no statement from the police regarding the identity of the attackers.
Jersey City Police Chief Michael Kelly said the firing incidents occurred at two locations.
Initially, firing took place in a cemetery where a police officer was killed. This was followed by firing at Kosher Super Market from where five bodies were recovered.
