Madhya Pradesh: BJP MLA Prahlad Lodhi Sentenced To 2 Years Jail, Action In Case Related To Sand Mining

Bhopal In Madhya Pradesh, 12 people including BJP MLA Prahlad Lodhi have been sentenced to two years in jail by a special court in Bhopal in a case related to sand mining. Along with this, he has also been sentenced to a fine of three and a half thousand rupees.

BJP MLA Prahlad Lodhi from Powai seat of Panna district was accused of assaulting and abusing the Tehsildar of Rapura by stopping the middle road and taking action against sand mining. The special judge Suresh Singh, who is hearing the cases of MPs and MLAs, delivered the verdict. Lodhi is accused of stopping the Tehsildar’s jeep and then assaulting him.
