The Health Ministry said the heat can have adverse effects on human health. Therefore, keep these things in mind
– Avoid getting too long in sunlight if the temperature is high.
– If it is necessary to get out of the house then use an umbrella or hat or towel
– To avoid heat absorption, wear light-colored cotton clothes
– Drink water regularly and drink salted drinks such as lassi, lemonade, fruit juice and plenty of ORS
– Eat watermelon, cucumber, lemons, and oranges
– Repeatedly take bath and use fans, coolers, and AC in an attempt to reduce the room temperature.
It has been said in the consultation that people who feel uncomfortable are especially the elderly, children, pregnant women and outside workers, should be taken to the cold place, at least wear clothes, wipe the body with cold water. Use ice wrapped in cloth and take them to the nearest health center for immediate treatment.
