5-year-old man died of corona virus in Bagalkot, Karnataka. Officials said the man was a businessman and had no history of foreign travel, who died on Friday. Bagalkot Deputy Commissioner K Rajendra has also confirmed another death in the state. He said that the deceased had no connection with Tablig-e-Jamaat. Police said the children of the person who died were also investigated, but the report came back negative.
The first death due to COVID-19 in Karnataka was in Kalaburagi, which was also the first death due to this deadly virus in the country. The second incident came from Chikkaballapura and the third incident took place in Tumkuru.
