29 killed, 61 injured in terrorist attack in Kabul; Taliban may occupy power

Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said the militants hiding in an under-construction apartment attacked. It killed 32 people and injured more than 81 people. The Health Ministry has also reported 32 people killed but 58 injured. The injured also include a journalist and a cameraman. In this attack, many leaders including Abdullah Abdullah, former Afghan foreign minister, and contestant against President Ashraf Ghani, were narrowly escaped.

Abdullah spokesman Friedun Kwajoon, who was present at the event, said the attack began with a rocket falling in that area. After that, the sound of fire was also heard.
