The administration has appealed to the people to move to other places in case they can get out of the affected areas themselves. Along with this, the Rural Fire Services Department is also preparing to deal with the difficult situation on weekends.

On Thursday, a fire in New South Wales destroyed 40 million hectares of crops. The province’s Premier Glades Berejiklian thanked the police for ensuring the safety of the people. He has also appealed people to take precautions.

He said, “We know that the temperature will go above 40 in many parts. The stranded tourists also have to be evacuated.

Due to the fire, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Thursday that appropriate measures will be taken to protect the environment under Australia’s emission reduction policy.

He said that the National Security Committee of the Cabinet will meet on Monday to discuss the use of more ships and helicopters and other issues.

The administration in Victoria province has appealed to the people of East Gippsland, especially the northeast of the state, to leave the fire area as the situation may worsen in the coming days.

Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews said Navy ships would be deployed in the Mallakuta area from Friday.

The death toll is expected to rise as 17 people are reported missing in Victoria.
