NEW DELHI: Realty’s housing Gaurs Group has increased sales by around Rs. 4,000 crore in the last fiscal year by 25 percent due to improved demand for housing and commercial property, a senior company official said.

MD Manoj Gaur said the company sold more than 10,000 residential and commercial units during the fiscal year 2018-19.

“Our sales orders in value terms housing increased to Rs 3,989 crore in 2018-19 from Rs. 3,200 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Gaurs said the company is considering 15-20 percent growth in sales reserves during the current fiscal year. The real estate market has definitely revived and those developers who are following all regulations and delivering projects on time have benefited greatly, he said.

The Gaurs Group, based in Ghaziabad, is developing the town of Gaur City on an area of 240 acres in Greater Noida (West), known as the Noida Extension with an investment of Rs 8,000 crore.

And is developing another town on the 300-acre Yasuna Expressway, which it bought from the Jaypee Group in 2013 for more than Rs 1500 crore.
On future plans, Sarthak Gaur, head of business development, said: “We have an aggressive plan for 2019 and we are acquiring large parcels of land for the PMAY Housing Plan, mainly in the NCR region and also in Tier 2 cities. from North India. ”

Recently, Gaurs Group completed the construction of Gaur City Mall, the first retail project at Noida Extension, with an investment of Rs. 750 crore. and we are acquiring large parcels In addition to the commercial center, the six-acre commercial development includes 1,200 offices, 200 serviced apartments, and a 187-room hotel.

It already has a mall at Raj Nagar District Centre in Ghaziabad.The group has also forayed into education and hospitality businesses
