If you are obese or a diabetic patient or consume alcohol regularly, it is very important for you to get your liver checked regularly. We are saying this because the worst lifestyle affects the liver of the body and due to this, a large number of people are becoming unhealthy and sick without any significant symptoms.

Middle aged women and investigation of liver men
men between 2018 year 2019 of Institute in Delhi, liver and Bailri Sciences (ILBS) planted 200 mobile health camps across the city and parish clinic and around the average 46 year Poliklinik and Have examined the liver of women and tried to know whether they have a problem of liver fibrosis. It is a disease in which long-term injury or irritation in the liver tissue leads to wounding, which can lead to complete liver damage.

1 out of 3 people had liver fibrosis problems
During this screening, the results revealed that about 35.5 percent, ie 1 in every 3 people who had exaggerated had liver fibrosis. Of these, 14 percent had liver fibrosis at the advanced stage. If such people are not treated on time, their liver can be permanently damaged. At the same time, liver cirrhosis disease was found in 3 percent people. Dr. Archana Rastogi, Assistant Professor of Epidemology at ILBS, says, “Those in whom liver fibrosis was diagnosed were referred to the nearest Mohalla Clinic or the Medical Officer at Polyclinic for further treatment.”

Awareness is necessary for dangerous diseases related to liver
In this screening program of ILBS, 7 thousand 624 people were screened. Of these, 804 people admitted to consuming alcohol. This study highlights that there is a need to create awareness among people about chronic liver disease in order to make people aware of the risk of liver cirrhosis or fibrosis, says Dr. SK Sarin, director of ILBS. Dr. Sarin further says, alcohol consumption, diabetic patients and people with other metabolic diseases fall into the high risk group and in order to detect liver related disease early in such people, strategy is needed for this. Alcohol and obesity are also responsible for hepatitis

Doctors say that from 2 to 3 decades ago, hepatitis was considered responsible for most liver-related diseases. Liver diseases have not increased due to hepatitis, but obesity, alcohol consumption and diabetes have led to an increase in cases of liver related diseases.
